Former Bears quarterbacks we found on LinkedIn
Pro quarterbacks—they're just like us! At least, they are after their playing days are over.
For many of us, an updated LinkedIn profile is essential when it comes to the job search.
The same can be said for a handful of former Bears quarterbacks from way back when. A search shows several are using the service much the same as we are, hoping to find new jobs, cultivate business opportunities or at the very least remind their professional contacts that they are, in fact, alive.

With Bears: 2004
Now: Principal, Arthur Krenzel Lett Insurance Group
Blink and you would've missed Krenzel's brief stint as the Bears' starting quarterback. One of the most successful QBs in Ohio State history, he won a national championship for the Buckeyes in 2003 and earned a degree in molecular biology. That success didn't carry over to the pros, however. In six games (five starts) with the Bears, Krenzel went 3-2, completing under 50 percent of his passes while throwing for three touchdowns and six interceptions.
He finished his career backing up Carson Palmer with Cincinnati, but at least he's got a sense of humor about it. Under the "Professional Athlete, Cincinnati Bengals" portion of his LinkedIn profile, Krenzel describes his responsibilities as "Held the Clipboard and stole paychecks."
