Day 3: Players slappin' each others' butts


I'd like to know where this tradition began: The butt-slap as a form of encouragement or celebration. Why not just shake hands or high-five. I mean, who was the guy who decided he'd slap his teammates butts after a good play. At any rate, it's an NBA tradition now, for better or worse.
