In case you missed it Tuesday, the Cubs won the World Series. In Sony's commercial for "MLB 12 The Show," that is. Yep, they went there. The commercial took Chicago by storm, dominating social media sites, blogs and water cooler talk all over the city. It's scarily realistic, featuring scenes shot around the city and incorporating Chicago landmarks. Add some CGI fireworks and confetti, and it's almost as if the Cubs really did win the World Series. Hopefully that's not as close as the Cubs get. Here's a breakdown of the commercial, scene-by-scene.
