Baseball starts next week!
Yeah, being a Chicago baseball fan can sometimes feel like
BUT NOT THIS YEAR! THIS YEAR IT'S GONNA BE DIFFERENT...until you remember it's all of 24 degrees outside on Opening Day.
THE WRIGLEY EXPERIENCE
Your friends are in town randomly and want to hit the Cubs game. You look up tickets for Opening Day and the prices are like...
but you bite the bullet and hit the game. Things are going well! You see a little of this...
some of this....
and since it's Wrigley, probably this.
...which will immediately be thrown back.
Speaking of, have we figured out why people still throw balls back onto the field?
Regardless, you're having a great time. Even if half the people around you look like this...
or are doing this
THE CELL EXPERIENCE
First and foremost, it isn't a Sox game without a bit of tailgating, right?
so you make your way into the park and immediately get a hot dog, curly fries, a nacho helmet, and elotes so you can do this
You're sitting next to a family of 5 from Back Of The Yards:
the mom and Aunt Bev
and the kids
...all of whom make you look like this
The Sox are tied in the 9th, it's still freezing in the shade and the whole experience has you feeling like
...until this happens.
which makes you, your friends, and even that one beer vendor who looks like a pirate do this...
Gotta love Chicago baseball, right?
