Packers 24, Bears 20: Bears have struggled at Lambeau Field in recent years and face the tough task of going on the road in a short week. Bottom line is Aaron Rodgers won't have another bad game.
Packers 27 Bears 24: The Bears should work to expose a soft Packers run front, but I can't see Aaron Rodgers having two sub-par games in a row. Both clubs pick up explosive plays with the Packers holding on in the fourth quarter.
David Haugh 1-0
Packers 35, Bears 31: Can't remember a year when both offenses were so comparable and even. The Bears offense will do everything it can to give team chance to win. The Packers offense will do slightly more and find a way to avoid 0-2 start.
Vaughn McClure 1-0
Packers 24, Bears 21: This has the potential to be an explosive offensive show on both sides, but something tells me the defensive fronts won't allow it. Reigning league MVP Aaron Rodgers won't allow his Packers to start 0-2, not after last year's postseason failure.
Dan McNeil 1-0
Packers 31, Bears 24: With Brian Urlacher not at 100 percent, there's no way Aaron Rodgers comes up as short as he did vs. the 49ers. Bears pass protection takes a few steps back vs. gambling Dom Capers.
Fred Mitchell 1-0
Bears 27, Packers 23: The Bears will need to play keep-away from Aaron Rodgers and the Packers' offense, meaning Matt Forte and Michael Bush will need to run effectively. Turnovers and special teams also will be key.
Mike Mulligan 1-0
Packers 28, Bears 21: The Bears have gotten better and the Packers worse, but is Green Bay really going to open the season with two home losses? Not if Aaron Rodgers remains upright.
Dan Pompei 1-0
Packers 33, Bears 30: Can you imagine a scenario in which either team doesn't have a healthy offensive output? I cannot, which almost assuredly means you should expect a defensive struggle.
Steve Rosenbloom 1-0
Bears 45, Packers 17: The Packers can't run the ball, can't protect the quarterback and can't play defense. So, I probably should have picked a bigger margin, but I expect Lovie Smith to pull Brian Urlacher early again to make sure he's healthy for the Rams game.
