On the field: Frey was a durable performer in school and first-team All-WAC last season after leading the team with five interceptions. He has good size, and that is one of the first things you look for with cornerbacks in the Cover-2 scheme.
Upside: Frey has good size and has shown a knack for being a playmaker, but if he sticks it will be at the bottom of the roster.
Downside: Late-round picks face an uphill battle, and the Bears have a host of veterans in the mix here. Still, this could be a blessing for Frey as they need to develop young players at the position. He needs to transition to playing zone defense as he played almost exclusively man in college.
