Columbia College is sponsoring a symposium in which scholars and authors will discuss, critique and frame issues facing African-Americans in the 21st Century. “The Chicago ’96 Symposium: Addressing the African American Agenda,” will feature Dr. Cornel West, Walter Mosley, Tavis Smiley, Julianne Malveaux and Stanley Crouch.
