Sighting: Derrick Rose surprises table at Giordano's Pizza

Derrick Rose is now an equity partner and national spokesperson for Giordano’s Pizza, but on Thursday the Bulls star and former NBA MVP briefly played the role of a Giordano’s waiter.

Rose visited Giordano’s on Rush Street hours after his involvement with the restaurant franchise had been announced and decided to surprise one table by personally delivering their pizza to them. Once he brought out their order, Rose took a seat at the table -- which included an ecstatic young boy, as you can see from the above photo -- and ate pizza with the group.

You can expect to see Rose in Giordano’s advertising and promotions this year. He will also introduce his own signature pizza. "I'm actually pretty good in the kitchen," Rose said in a press release.
