I know what you’re thinking: There haven’t been enough articles about the cold weather during the polar vortex.

And that’s why I bring you this entertaining video from Tuesday’s episode of ESPN2’s “Highly Questionable.” It features the Bears’ Charles Tillman admitting he despises playing in Chicago’s frigid temperatures as much as his opponents do, if not more so.

So much for home field advantage.

“We played the Houston Texans, the wind (chill) was like minus-10, minus-15,” Tillman said of one game in particular his rookie season. “For the first time in my life -- I don’t believe I’m publicly saying this -- I didn’t care who won the game. Mentally, I quit. I quit the game. ... I was like ‘Man, this is not for me. I am too cold. This is dumb. I don’t want to be out here.’

“We had this rule: Brian Urlacher didn’t let anybody wear sleeves. So we’re like, you know, tough guys, defense. And I just completely wimped out. I could not stand it. I checked out.”

Tillman might not have to deal with Chicago’s cold weather much longer. The Walter Payton Man of the Year winner becomes a free agent next month.
