The Hockey News recently ranked over 50 different categories at the professional level in voting conducted by its 30 NHL correspondents. The Hawks and members of the organization placed first in four categories, second in five and third in four.
First-place finishes included Best Business Savvy, Best Jersey, Best Leader (Jonathan Toews) and Best Grinder (Dave Bolland).
The Hawks finished second in Best Owner (Rocky Wirtz), Best Money Player (Toews), Best Faceoff Man (Toews), Best Hockey Song (Chelsea Dagger) and Best Public Relation Department.
Third-place finishes included Best Hidden Gem (Patrick Sharp), Best Dressed (Sharp), Best intermission and Best Arena Food.
