Fantasy football: Week 15 pickups
For many of us, this is fantasy semifinals week. Now is the time when the fantasy cream rises to the top of the proverbial fantasy coffee cup. It is also the time when you can either get yourself in the money or simply have another somewhat successful fantasy season end in sadness and disappointment -- like the Chargers every year. Nobody wants to be the Chargers.
Do you have what it takes to take it to the next level? If you've made it to this point, you probably don't need to make much more than a couple of tweaks. But just in case you got a Big Ben ankle or a nasty RB matchup to worry about, I'm here to help. Good luck to everyone (including myself). -- Matthew Wood

Jake Locker, QB, Titans
This is assuming he will start in place of Matt Hasselbeck, who is still battling a calf injury. He looked decent throwing the ball while filling in against the Saints last week, but really impressed me with his feet. He legitimately outran defensive backs on a few plays, and made an acrobatic leap for a score near the end of the game. If you've made it this far in the playoffs, chances are you already have a solid option at QB. If not, he's a guy I would be OK with starting in the playoffs, especially against a porous Indy defense.
Last week: 282 pass yards, 1 TD, 36 rush yards, 1 TD This week: @Indianapolis |
