The Cubs are going to win the World Series this year. How could you possibly know such a thing, you might ask? Well, a yearbook photo from 1993 told us so. Therefore, it must be 100 percent fact (and we also just reeeeeally want it to be true).
A senior at Mission Viejo High School in California predicted the Cubs’ win in his senior quote … TWENTY-THREE years ago. Michael Lee said, “Chicago Cubs. 2016 World Champions. You heard it here first.” Seriously, is this guy a time traveler or something? This has got to be a Photoshop hoax.
Well, according to Sports Illustrated, after the image surfaced on the Facebook page of The Heckler, at least five other photos from that same year were posted by different users on Twitter and Reddit to prove the prediction was actually made in 1993. Wow. Just wow.
