Titanic II is the project of Australian businessman Clive Palmer.
It is a very close replica to the original vessel of the early 1900s.
Titanic II will have the same maximum speed as the Titanic (24 knots) but will accommodate slightly more passengers and crew members. Unlike the original ship, Titanic II will have more than enough lifeboats and liferafts for everyone aboard. Construction of the ship is taking place in China, and the ship is set to sail in the year 2018.
