Leave it to the trash-talkingest place in Chicago to defend the city’s honor on baseball’s biggest stage.

The Wiener’s Circle, known for its in-your-face, vulgar service as much as its cuisine, traded barbs with Pink’s, an L.A. hot dog rival, while the Cubs were getting set to take on the Dodgers in the NLCS.

Not surprising, the Chicago hot dog legend fired the first salvo.

Which inspired Pink’s to invoke Bartman …

Which led the Wiener’s Circle to go full marquee on them.

Trust us, Pink’s, you’re not going to win a war of words with the people who have no qualms about running signs that say “Jeff Samardzija has a tiny wiener!!” They even spelled Samardzija correctly. You’re out of your league here, L.A.
