In “X-Men: Apocalypse,” the titular villain (played by Oscar Isaac) has the ability to absorb the powers of other mutants and imbue others with power. If he decided to get really ambitious, he would assimilate the traits of other characters the actors have played. Frightening if it were to happen, yes, but fun in the meantime.

These are the characters who would give Apocalypse the most bang for his mutant buck (not including Lana Condor, who plays Jubilee, or Ben Hardy, who’s cast as Angel, as they haven’t done much acting yet). If he doesn’t steal these powers himself, it’d be cool to see them in character mashups.

JAMES MCAVOY (PROFESSOR CHARLES XAVIER)

Wesley from “Wanted” + Victor Frankenstein from “Victor Frankenstein”

What you’d get: A bullet-bending scientist who can reanimate the dead, kind of like a severely limited and even more arrogant Magneto. If Apocalypse had buddies in ancient Egypt who are long gone, this is his guy to change that.

TYE SHERIDAN (Scott Summers/Cyclops)

Ben Goudy from “Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse” + Eddie the Opener from “Entertainment”

What you’d get: A Boy Scout must always “be prepared.” Any supervillain would want that in a minion, especially one who can help thwart a zombie attack. A dose of humor never hurts, either. See: anything with Spider-Man for the lighthearted and the Joker for the dark stuff.

SOPHIE TURNER (JEAN GREY)

Sansa Stark from “Game of Thrones” + Heather from “Barely Lethal”

What you’d get: A politically savvy seamstress with horseback riding skills combined with the skills of a teenage assassin taught by none other than Samuel L. Jackson. Sounds like a medieval version of the Avengers’ Black Widow, no?

EVAN PETERS (PETER MAXIMOFF/QUICKSILVER)

Charles from “Safelight” + Jimmy Darling from “American Horror Story: Freak Show”

What you’d get: Because conquering the world without the pictures for one’s scrapbook is silly, Peters’ “Safelight” role has that covered. As for Jimmy Darling, he was known as “Lobster Boy” on the show, so he’s more than familiar with the mocking mutants suffer in Apocalypse’s universe.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE (RAVEN DARKHOLME/MYSTIQUE)

Katniss Everdeen from “The Hunger Games” + Mascot from “Monk”

What you’d get: We all know how deadly Lawrence looks with a bow and arrow in hand, but believe it or not, one of her roles was as a cougar (the furry kind); she had to jump on star Tony Shalhoub’s shoulders on “Monk.” The combination of these two characters would be like if Hawkeye had claws and serious feline hops. Impressive.

KODI SMIT-MCPHEE (KURT WAGNER/NIGHTCRAWLER)

Benvolio from “Romeo and Juliet” + Norman Babcock from “ParaNorman”

What you’d get: Even supreme bad guys need help with their speeches, and there’s no one better than Shakespeare; that’s where Benvolio comes in. On top of that, Norman Babcock can see and talk to dead people. You never know when that’s going to come in handy (see: Victor Frankenstein).

NICHOLAS HOULT (HANK MCCOY/BEAST)

R from “Warm Bodies” + Nux from “Mad Max: Fury Road”

What you’d get: First off, he’d be immortal like Apocalypse, because R is a vampire. On top of that, he’d be some kind of uncontrollable fiend, as that’s what you’d be getting from Nux. Bad news for good guys.

LUCAS TILL (ALEX SUMMERS/HAVOC)

Cayden Richards from “Wolves” + Travis Brody from “Hannah Montana: The Movie”

What you’d get: Um, a werewolf who’d be so cute and cuddly he could charm Miley Cyrus into falling in love with him? Honestly, we just wanted to bring up the fact that Till was in the Hannah Montana movie, poor guy.

MICHAEL FASSBENDER (ERIC LEHNSHERR/MAGNETO)

Carl Jung from “A Dangerous Method” + Steve Jobs from “Steve Jobs”

What you’d get: Either the smartest man who ever lived or someone too intelligent for his own good.

ALEXANDRA SHIPP (ORORO MUNROE/STORM)

Kim from “Straight Outta Compton” + KT from “House of Anubis”

What you’d get: Shipp called Kim, aka Ice Cube’s wife, “the dopest woman ever.” If she merged with the Nickelodeon show character, she’d still be dope and would do a pretty good Mr. T impression and be a decent freestyle rapper, which is what we learned about Shipp from researching the KT character. That totally counts for our purposes.

OLIVIA MUNN (PSYLOCKE)

Sloan Sabbith from “The Newsroom” + Greta from “Chuck”

What you’d get: Sabbith was an economic expert on “The Newsroom,” which is about as close as it gets in real life to being able to predict the future. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to combine her with the spy she played on “Chuck.” Knowledge is power, kids.
