Light bulbs and garland and bells, oh my! ‘Tis the season to toss on an ugly holiday sweater and head to your nearest holiday party. But what if you’re short a sweater? Uber teamed up with fashion brand Tipsy Elves to deliver ugly sweaters on demand.
Today, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., people can open their Uber apps, enter promo code UBERELVESCHI to unlock the UberELVES option, allowing them to request a free Tipsy Elves sweater for a $10 delivery fee.
“Today Chicagoans can push a button and get an ugly Christmas sweater to celebrate the holidays in fun and fabulous fashion,” Uber spokeswoman Brooke Anderson said in a press release. “Regardless of what’s on your Christmas List, everyone needs one of these sweaters to make the ultimate fashion statement this holiday season.”
Here’s an idea: Wear your sweater on National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day (December 18) or for Chicago’s Twelve Bars of Xmas (TBOX) pub crawl taking place in Wrigleyville this Saturday.
