This week brings the series premieres of “Ground Floor,” “Alpha House” and “Almost Human” and the series finale of “Eastbound & Down.” Also on the schedule are the return of “Parks and Recreation” after a short hiatus, the Season 4 premiere of “Raising Hope” and the U.S. premieres of two very different British thrillers, “Secret State” and “Black Mirror.”

The new sitcom from “Cougartown” and “Scrubs” creator Bill Lawrence follows a up-and-coming banker (Skylar Astin) who falls for a one-night stand (Briga Heelan) who works in the bank’s maintenance department. Uncomfortable, which is how I feel saying that this doesn’t live up to Lawrence’s much funnier other shows. A second episode follows at 9:30 p.m.
Scandal
9 p.m. Thursday, ABC
We learn how Fitz, Mellie and Cyrus became a team in “Everything’s Coming Up Mellie.” But this being “Scandal,” a mere flashback just won’t do. We also get Mellie plotting her comeback, Cyrus plotting against Sally Langston and Huck plotting to keep annoying Quinn at arm’s length.
Friday, Nov. 15
Bones
7 p.m. Friday, Fox
“Bones” moves to a new day and time with “The Fury in the Jury,” in which Brennan serves as a juror in the trial of professional soccer player Peter Kidman (guest star Brandon Quinn), who is accused of murdering his wife.
Styled to Rock
7 p.m. Friday, Bravo
The contestants have to style publicity loving Miley Cyrus for “Miley’s Sexy Night Out.” Let me guess: see-through top, barely there shorts and a giant foam finger?
Raising Hope
8 p.m. Friday, Fox
Burt, Virginia and Jimmy learn that the mysterious man (guest star Jeffrey Tambor) they keep seeing is, first of all, real. Secondly, he may have something to do with a secret Maw Maw’s been keeping. The Season 4 premiere is followed at 8:30 p.m. by the new episode “Burt Bucks.”
Hawaii Five-0
8 p.m. Friday, CBS
The Jo Bros’ split doesn’t mean we can’t see them separately. Nick Jonas guest stars as a computer hacker the governor tasks Five-0 to find.

John Goodman plays John Biggs, a North Carolina Republican senator who lives with three other lawmakers in a Washington, D.C., townhouse in this new comedy written by “Doonesbury” scribe Garry Trudeau. The first three episodes post Friday, then one a week after that.

Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth
7 p.m. Saturday, HBO
Mike Tyson reveals some shocking stories from his past in this filmed version of his one-man stage show. Both were directed by Spike Lee.
The Challenger Disaster
8 p.m. Saturday, Science and Discovery channels
William Hurt stars as Nobel Prize-winning scientist Dr. Richard Feynman in this story of Feynman’s work to uncover the cause of the Challenger explosion in 1986. The film is based on Feynman’s book, “What Do You Care What Other People Think?”

Chris is accused of murdering Brett with a wood chipper, in the Season 3 premiere.

Almost Human

A human cop with mechanical parts (Karl Urban) and an emotional android (Michael Ealy) partner up in this teach-savvy cross between a buddy cop drama and a sci-fi thriller. “Mad Men” star Elizabeth Moss guest voices a pregnant woman who goes into labor while in an elevator—with Homer. Oh boy.
