Hopefully you’ve all had or are still having a great holiday break, but after New Year’s Day things start getting back to normal, and TV is no exception.

Your regularly scheduled programming is about to return. So if you’re wondering when your favorite shows are back in 2014, look no further than this fairly comprehensive list of the post-holiday, midseason premieres of current shows.

But 2014 also kicks off with many new and returning series and miniseries worth watching. This list also includes season, miniseries and series premieres; finales; movies, specials and awards shows. I’ve put the titles of the shows I’m most excited about in italics.

So get that new DVR revved up. All times are Central, and remember, this is “fairly” comprehensive, so if you can’t find a show let me know and I’ll add it.
