Now we know why NBC stopped the planned Oct. 19 returns of “Community” and “Whitney.” The network has pulled “Animal Practice” from its schedule and is slotting “Whitney” to take its place beginning Nov. 14.
But when will the fourth season of “Community” begin? Duh, Oct. 19. At least in the hearts of those who love the show, suggest Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi) in a new video from the cast of the series. You can watch below as they explain the meaning of Oct. 19. Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Chevy Chase, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash also appear in the video.
NBC hasn’t officially cancelled “Animal Practice” but, well, Crystal the capuchin monkey might want to look for a new job. NBC has yet to announce when “Community” will be back.
