The University Village restaurant celebrates throughout October (excluding Saturdays) by offering a $20 pasta flight featuring fettuccine with wild mushroom sauce, jumbo ravioli filled with braised beef short ribs and ziti with smoked salmon. Wine pairings are available for an additional $12.50. 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

The bar on the second floor of The Kimpton Gray Hotel serves a flight of six martinis ($25), a menu of seven different old fashioneds including varieties made with brandy and Scotch (both $14) and an extensive wine list paired with bites including chicken skin chips ($8) and arctic char tartare deviled eggs ($12). 3-11 p.m.

The distillery celebrates its 150th anniversary with a weeklong touring pop-up where you can buy branded merchandise, baked goods and coffee, get a trim at a barbershop, learn about barrel-making and take a virtual reality tour. The first 150 people to visit each day receive free swag. 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Free.

HAPPY HOUR OF THE DAY

Dos Urban Cantina (2829 W. Armitage Ave. 773-661-6452) offers half-price margaritas, Mexican beers, chicken wings, chips and dips and tamal tots from 5-7 p.m.
