The River North restaurant hosts chef Abe Conlon for a dinner inspired by his new cookbook “The Adventures of Fat Rice: Recipes from the Chicago Restaurant Inspired by Macau” with dishes including chicken curry katsu with peas, turnips and mushrooms, and sauteed and marinated mackerel with lemon, green chile, red onion and dashi vinegar. 6-9 p.m. $55; $75 with a copy of the book.
