“Strike Back Origins” scores another pair of top-notch guest stars when Toby Stephens and Alexander Siddig appear in its fifth episode, airing at 9 p.m. CST Nov. 22 on Cinemax.

As you can see in the exclusive preview below, Stephens uses his best American tough-guy accent to play Frank Arlington, a U.S. official who clashes with Section 20 leader Hugh Collinson (Andrew Lincoln) after a friendly fire incident in Afghanistan.

On the ground in the war zone, Afghan fighters hack into a British military missile guidance system with deadly consequences. Section 20 suspects a connection to missing software engineer Gerald Baxter (Ewen Bremner), but Arlington isn’t telling Collinson everything about the situation.

Collinson sends John Porter (Richard Armitage) to find Baxter. He poses as an arms dealer and makes contact with extremist group. He crosses paths with Siddig’s mysterious character, Zahir Sharq.

Siddig’s long list of credits include recurring roles in the first season of Starz’ “Da Vinci’s Demons,” “Primeval,” “24” and sci-fi fans will remember his role as Dr. Bashir in “Star Trek: Deep Space 9.” He will recur as King Minos in BBC America’s “Atlantis,” which debuts Nov. 23

Stephens has starred in the film “Die Another Day” as well as the British series “Vexed.” He plays the lead role of Captain Flint in the upcoming pirate drama “Black Sails,” premiering Jan. 25 on Starz.
