The final episode of “Strike Back: Origins” brings John Porter and Hugh Collinson face to face as they confront a shared past they’d rather forget.

The finale debuts at 9 p.m. CST Nov. 29 on Cinemax. In it, Porter (Richard Armitage) is being held captive in Pakistan by warlord Zahir Sharq (Alexander Siddig), who also controls the valuable asset whom Porter was sent to find: British citizen turned CIA operative Gerald Baxter (Ewen Bremner).

Back in London, Section 20 operatvie Layla Thompson (Jodhi May) grows suspicious of her boss, Collinson (Andrew Lincoln), whom viewers know was responsible for the deaths of soldiers during a mission run by Porter several years earlier. Collinson tries to explain away the new information

Thompson has discovered while also battling a turf war of sorts with his American counterpart Frank Arlington (Toby Stephens), who would rather see Porter and Baxter dead than admit that U.S. dealings with Baxter led to the deaths of several American soldiers in Afghanistan.

In a desperate attempt to save his career, Collinson takes matters into his own hands and heads to Afghanistan to find Porter.

As you can see in the exclusive clip above and a second below, things don’t seem to start off too well when he faces Porter, who was blamed for his comrades’ deaths seven years ago.

The finale was directed by Edward Hall and written by Robert Murphy.
