Our “Strike Back” heroes Stonebridge (Philip Winchester) and Scott (Sullivan Stapleton) can’t catch a break. In last week’s episode of the Cinemax series, the Section 20 soldiers finally caught a terrorist named Othmani (Said Taghmaoui), who was carrying the nuclear triggers they have been assigned to find. Now the guys, along with their Tuareg ally Markunda (Laetitia Eido) and her two men have been trapped by Othmani’s brother, El Soldat. Episode 14, airing at 9 p.m. Aug. 31, shows just how complex and layered this series is. It’s got action, flirting and two blokes who have each others’ backs. Stapleton and Winchester continue to give detailed performances, this time in some quiet moments showing how Scott tries to help Stonebridge deal with his PTSD by revealing just a little more about himself and his past.
