On January 1, 2013 a group of Chicago zoo keepers got together with members of the 501st Midwest Garrison (the Star Wars Costuming Group) for the inaugural “Wampa Plunge.” The keepers would play the part of “rebels” who the Imperial Troops would chase into the waters of Lake Michigan!
