No. 1: Minaj-Swift Twitter tiff

Nicki Minaj took to Twitter after the MTV Video Music Award nominees were announced to vent her frustrations on some big issues, including race, feminism and body image in the music industry. Taylor Swift interjected herself, thinking Minaj’s frustrations were directed at her, even though they weren’t. But now all is right in music-queen world..

No. 2: Judd does Bill

Comedian Judd Apatow did a spot-on impression of Bill Cosby during his appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” at the beginning of the week. Apatow does an impression of what he thinks the stand-up set would sound like after the sexual misconduct allegations against the 78-year-old comedian. The only thing Judd was missing was the Cosby sweater.

No. 3: Pork yeah!

You can stop your SWINE-ing because Chipotle says they’re bringing back carnitas. The shortage of the popular pork started in January, but the company says they hope to have all their restaurants stocked with the meat by the end of the year. So who’s craving a burrito bowl now? WE ARE!

No. 4: Divvy hike

Renting a Divvy bike just got a little more expensive. A fee hike went into effect that raised the price to rent the bikes from $7 to $9.95. Some riders don’t mind shelling out the extra $2.95 for the convenience, but other riders feel Chicago tourists will be the ones footing the bill on this. Either way, Divvy is wheel-y good for the city.

No. 5: Taste artists get snubbed

So some top-end music acts played at Taste of Chicago this year, and with those artists, came some pretty detailed contracts. The city crosses out any amenity they will not provide. Some of the artists had some pretty crazy requests, like having 24 cold Mexican beers delivered, but Weezer was payed $200,000 for its Taste set and they were denied two bottles of Gatorade. That. Makes. No. Sense.
