Rita Ora is about to be on top as the new host of “America’s Next Top Model,” according to E! News.
The VH1 (previously CW) reality show was originally hosted—as we all know—by smize-queen Tyra Banks. Her rousing speeches, like the classic “WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU,” made her tenure as host and judge one of the most entertaining reality reigns on television. Will Ora be able to fill her shoes? Time will tell.
Banks will still act as an executive producer and, to our excitement, make a few “special appearances.” The original series ended its 12-year, 22-season run in 2015.
Ora will be joined on the new judging panel by supermodel Ashley Graham, stylist Law Roach and PAPER communications chief creative officer Drew Elliott. Though Ora is more singer than supermodel, her sass will hopefully compensate for her lack of runway skills. And if all else fails, Tyra will be around the corner to kick her fierce into gear.
The first season of the new iteration is shooting its 14-episode run now in New York and will premiere on VH1, though no date has been set yet.
