While we’ve already established that Riot Fest Chicago 2015 has a killer lineup, today, the festival announced which days those musical acts will play. The three-day event, which is now based in Douglas Park after a contentious move from Humboldt Park, takes place Friday, Sept. 11; Saturday, Sept. 12; and Sunday, Sept. 13.
Friday boasts headliners No Doubt, Ice Cube and guests, Faith No More, Thrice and Alkaline Trio. Leading Saturday’s lineup are System of a Down, Iggy Pop, Drive Like Jehu, Babes In Toyland, American Nightmare, Rancid (performing “…And Out Come the Wolves”), The Academy Is… (performing “Almost Here”) and Modern Life Is War (performing “Witness”). Acts closing out the festival on Sunday include Modest Mouse, Snoop Dogg (performing “Doggystyle”), The Prodigy, L7 and Tenacious D.
Riot Fest is currently offering only three-day passes for $189.98 and three-day VIP passes for $299.98, which are available now on its website. Groupon has an “exclusive pre-sale” offering single-day tickets for $69.98. However, on July 23, additional single-day tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m.
