Clearly, the first lady’s attempts to get America up and moving are working on the leader of the free world, as well.

In his time guest editing for Wired, President Obama also managed to create a 10-song workout playlist to gift to the world before making his presidential exit in January.

The good:

Beyonce is a solid choice for any playlist but most definitely can motivate any man, woman or child to get up and move it. “Get Me Bodied” makes an appearance toward the end of the playlist to really help you break through that wall.

The Isley Brothers make an appearance with “Live It Up, Pts. 1 & 2,” a solid choice with some varying tempos that could be good for a humdrum cardio routine that needs a bit of life.

Icona Pop’s “Emergency” is on my workout playlist, too, so maybe I’m a bit biased, but it is a damn good motivator when your feet start to hurt a few miles into your run.

The bad:

“Let’s Get It Started” on a workout playlist? Revolutionary. POTUS has access to any music he could ever want to work out to and he chooses this Black Eyed Peas song? All right, Barry. You do you.

And please explain why Sting’s “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free” is on here? Yes, it’s upbeat, but nothing I’ve ever longed to listen to at the gym. That being said, I can somehow picture Obama jogging to this song with Biden alongside him.

The surprising:

Nina Simone doesn’t immediately come to mind as you’re about to lace up your Nikes, but the fast-paced staccato piano in “Sinnerman” can definitely get you up and running. The same goes for Forro In The Dark’s “Perro Loco,” which will at the very least want to make you dance.

Bob Marley’s “Could You Be Loved” also appears on the playlist, which admittedly is a great song but not exactly something that motivates us to get up and #werk.

And who knew Mr. President was a Courtney Barnett fan? Or at least enough of a fan to want to break a sweat to her music? “Elevator Operator” closes out the playlist.

Barry, if you’re looking for a job once your time at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. is up, feel free to come be our personal trainer.
