Thanks for your interest in RedEye. Here are the opportunities we have available. Because of the high volume of inquiries we receive about job/freelance/internship opportunities, we can only respond to finalists.
Freelance reporters

Think you have what it takes? If interested, send resume, clips of/links to three published stories and two pitches for story ideas to web editor Brian Moore, brmoore@tribune.com.
Internships
Our paid internship program seeks college students or recent graduates who want to contribute to RedEye's unique mission to inform, entertain and engage diverse Chicagoans in their 20s and 30s and have some fun while we're at it. Internships are available in web reporting and video producing.

RedEye interns are expected to have flexible skills, including basic knowledge of AP style and news writing. Online, social media and video editing experience is preferred.
