Thanks for your interest in RedEye. Here are the opportunities we have available. Because of the high volume of inquiries we receive about job/freelance/internship opportunities, we can only respond to finalists.
Interested in freelancing for RedEye/Metromix? We have opportunities available for reporters, photographers, columnists and videographers. Also, we love freelancers who already are familiar with the publication and websites. Here's how to get started.
Pitches are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
Reporters: Must have reporting experience and be able to pitch timely and talkable local stories and be able to write in a way that appeals to RedEye's audience of super social, passionate people in their 20s and 30s.
Think you have what it takes? If interested, send resume, clips of/links to three published stories and two pitches for story ideas to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Columnists: Please send a cover letter, resume, 5-6 clips and 2-3 ideas to Jessica Galliart (email@example.com).
