Big changes are afoot for the roomies on Fox’s “New Girl” in the Season 1 finale.
When the hit sitcom premiered last fall, Jess (Zooey Deschanel) moved in with the boys–Nick (Jake Johnson), Winston (Lamorne Morris) and Schmidt (Max Greenfield). But in the season finale, “See Ya,” airing at 8 p.m. May 8, they all deal with the possibility of Nick moving out to shack up with his ex, Caroline (Mary Elizabeth Ellis).
Say it isn’t so, Nick!
As Nick prepares for the move, his roomies interview candidates to replace him before Nick decides to take them all out to the desert where each one of them, and Cece (Hannah Simone), all do a bit of soul-searching. We learn that Winston is afraid of the dark. Jess does some adorkable dancing. Cece weighs the positives of a real relationship with Schmidt while Schmidt, finally, goes 22 minutes without having to contribute to the douche-bag jar. Win!
Finally,
that “something” happens on the romance front between Nick and Jess.
“I can’t say much, but the Jess-and-Nick story is explored,” he teased. “She and I are alone in the desert and things happen with the evolution of that relationship.”
