The Marvel movie and TV worlds collide again in the next episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” and star Chloe Bennet promises fans will love it.

In “The Well,” airing at 7 p.m. Nov. 19 on ABC, the S.H.I.E.L.D. team is sent to London to clean up the mess left after Thor’s latest battles on the big screen in “Thor: The Dark World.” Agent Coulsen (Clark Gregg) and his team find a relic from Asgard that causes people who touch it to “Hulk out,” Bennet told me during an interview.

“Certain people want to get their hands on that amount of power,” she said. “You kind of have to stop them.”

The relic wrecks havoc on the psyche of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), who not only rages but also relives some dark memories he’d rather not have exposed.

“You get to see a bit of a backstory for Ward and why he’s the way he is,” said Bennet, who plays computer hacker Skye, who is as quick with a tech problem as she is with a comeback. “She doesn’t really have to try much to be a bit of smart ass. She’s probably too smart for her own good.”

Skye and Ward often trade barbs with each other, but this episode gives the writers a chance to show how much Skye has become part of the family of agents onboard the “bus,” Bennet said.

“You’ll see how much she cares about him and how much, I think, she feels the need to take care of him a bit in this situation,” the Chicago native said.

“It’s a really great episode,” she teased. “And for all the ladies, you get to see Brett Dalton with no shirt on.”

Watch the first four minutes of the episode in the video above. Sorry, it’s before Dalton loses his shirt. Read the rest of my interview with Chloe Bennet here.
