It’s not every day you get to strip for Heather Locklear—unless you’re Breckin Meyer and Mark-Paul Gosselaar of “Franklin & Bash.”

“You know, we’ve both been [stripping] off camera for so long with Heather that I think it was really comfortable,” Meyer joked with me during a call with reporters earlier this month.

Meyer and Gosselaar, who play the lawyers of the show’s title, did have to disrobe in front of their new costar and Piers Morgan for a scene in the Season 3 premiere of TNT’s legal dramedy, which airs at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Locklear plays Rachel King, the duo’s smart and demanding new boss who challenges them to a bit of trivia during an appearance on “Piers Morgan Tonight.” As you can see in the episode’s trailers, the boys have to take off their clothes when they lose.

“It was really fun,” Locklear told reporters during a different call. “I read … that scene but I didn’t know if the guys were really going to go all the way.

“They have very nice asses.”

Joked Meyer when I told him Locklear’s comment: “Well, she’s not wrong.”

Meyer admitted that although it’s always a bit uncomfortable doing shirtless or semi-nude scenes, it was especially so with Locklear.

“I was the one who drew the small straw, so to speak,” he cracked. “I was sitting next to Heather with my little naked cover over me and I realized while I’m sitting there that this woman’s been married to Tommy Lee, who’s not less endowed than me. It was a little nerve-racking.”

The scene was actually shot midway through the season, Locklear said, and at the studio where “Piers Morgan Tonight” is made. All involved agreed that Morgan was a trooper.

“We had to actually physically stand up in front Piers pretty much naked,” Gosselaar said. “He was a good sport about it.”

Locklear even tried to get him in on the action. “I wanted to bet him, too, [with the same consequences],” she said, “but he wouldn’t go for it.”
