“Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” isn’t due out on Netflix until Nov. 25—a date that has already been burned into our brains—but you can revisit Luke’s way before then. On Wednesday, in fact.

Two Chicago coffee shops will be converted into the famed Stars Hollow coffee stop, Luke’s Diner, on Oct. 5. Luke’s—the spot of many an all-hours cup o’ joe or hamburger for Lorelai and Rory over the course of the series’ original seven-season run—will be taking over Osmium Coffee Bar (1117 W. Belmont Ave. 773-360-7553) in Lakeview and Elaine’s Coffee Call (1816 N. Clark St. 312-254-4665) in Lincoln Park. About 250 cafes across the country will undergo the one-day transformation, according to Eater.

As part of a promotion for the new season, the first 250 visitors to each location between 7 a.m. and noon will receive a free 12-ounce cup of coffee.

Why Wednesday? Oct. 5 marks the 16th anniversary of the premiere of the series, which ran from 2000 to 2007. And if free coffee isn’t enough to entice you, there’ll be a special Gilmore Girls Snapchat filter available to patrons for 24 hours. Make Lorelai proud. Drink some coffee in her name.
