Ready to really indulge your sweet tooth? This six-stop quest for Lincoln Park’s top treats should quell your cravings. A car will quicken the trip, but a combination of walking and bus-hopping will help work up an appetite for more

Start your jaunt with a chocolate croissant at traditional French bakery Vanille Patisserie (2229 N.
Clybourn Ave. 773-868-4574).

Next, walk a few blocks to Floriole Cafe & Bakery (1220 W. Webster Ave. 773-883-1313), where the pastry case is stocked with sweets ranging from maple-pecan tea cookies to sea salt caramels.

Just down the block, Sweet Mandy B’s (1208 W. Webster Ave. 773-244-1174) beckons with whoopie pies and specialty brownies.

Zigzag your way north on Racine, east on Fullerton and up Lincoln Avenue until you reach Cookie Bar (2475 N. Lincoln Ave. 773-348-0300), a disco-themed cookie shop that also serves baked-not-fried doughnuts under the alter-ego name Dirty Betty’s.

A brisk walk over to Molly’s Cupcakes (2536 N. Clark St. 773-883-7220) will be rewarded with some of the best cupcakes in town. If the brown butter frosting is available, don’t pass it up.

Walk up to Diversey Avenue to catch the westbound No. 76 bus to Fritz Pastry (1408 W. Diversey Parkway 773-857-2989), most adored for its French macarons, which come in flavors such as blood orange, lemon and pistachio, to name a few.
