Because you had a million other things to do, work was crazy that week or at the time you couldn’t afford it, you, like many others, missed out on getting tickets to see Foo Fighters play a super-sold out Wrigley Field on Saturday, August 29. It would be one thing to just not see the Dave Grohl-led rock band, but it’s another to miss a stacked lineup including Illinois veterans like Cheap Trick, Naked Raygun and Urge Overkill. Oh boy, do you feel left out or what?

Fortunately, there’s no reason to keep the “missing concert season”-al depression because this afternoon, a limited number of general admission main floor and reserved-seat tickets are going on sale. Starting at 4 p.m. local time, Foo Fanatics can go to www.cubs.com/foo and grab a pair of tickets to what’s likely going to be the summer’s marquee rock show. Please note that tickets will not be available at the Wrigley Field box office, so don’t even try. Also, you can only order two tickets or less, which are priced at $75 a pop.

So quit slacking, dig into the piggy bank and go see Dave Grohl do something cool. Don’t you want to see Dave Grohl do something cool like sit in his own “Iron Throne” made out of guitars? If so, at 4 p.m. click here and “Learn to Buy.”
