We know something. Maybe.

After months of speculation following June’s “Game of Thrones” season finale, at the end of which SPOILER ALERT Jon Snow was killed by his mutinous Brothers of the Night’s Watch, HBO has released a teaser poster for the show’s sixth season. And it features, you guessed it, Jon Snow.

The character appears bloody and scarred in the poster, and while it’s no definitive proof of life (Are his eyes obscured for artistic effect? Are they closed because he’s dead? Are they closed to hide that they’re now a different color?), it does prove that the show’s not done with Jon Snow just yet.

Actor Kit Harington and the show’s producers have insisted that “dead is dead is dead,” but anyone who watches the show knows that dead doesn’t necessarily mean the end of a character’s story arc. Harington, whose longer “Jon Snow” hair was the object of much scrutiny during a Wimbledon appearance this summer, has been spotted in costume on the “Game of Thrones” set in Belfast.

With the Season 5 finale coinciding with the end of the latest Song of Ice and Fire novel author George R.R. Martin has published, fans have run out of source material to consult during the hiatus, but don’t worry! The Season 6 finale is only about five months away.
