Next time you're at Pink's hot dogs make sure you're in a group and you have one person willing to take one for the team. Designate that person to wait in line (offer to buy him or her a dog), then walk up the street to the Jet Rag clothing store. Try on a bunch of random items for a movie costume montage. Make sure to take pictures to send to the poor sap waiting back at Pink's for a little in-line entertainment.

What started as a Twitter beef has turned into a bet with real stakes.

After Chicago hot spot The Wiener’s Circle went at it with Los Angeles staple Pink’s Hot Dogs at the start of the NLCS, on Tuesday the restaurants put their money where their mouth is.

If the Cubs win the series, Pink’s agrees to donate $1,908 to manager Joe Maddon’s charity and give out 108 Chicago-style dogs. If the Dodgers win, the Wiener’s Circle will give away Pink’s-style hot dogs for an hour (figure they’ll have chili on them) and donate to a charity of the L.A. restaurant’s choice.

The only thing that won’t settle is who’s got the best hot dogs, but of course there’s no hope of everyone agreeing on that anyway.
