If you’ve been too distracted by the Cubs, the election and the general hot-mess nature of this year to pay much attention to the movies, have no fear. With the Golden Globe nominations announced this morning, we now have a bit of a road map for where to start focusing our attention for awards season, and many of the films are available to watch now.

The full list of nominees is pretty huge, so to make it easy on you, here’s our list of the top Golden Globe-nominated movies—best picture contenders, as well as films with acting nods—and where to find them. We’ve included approximate release dates for the ones still in theaters, too. Our advice: Start with the ones that have been out in theaters the longest, then see the new ones, and fill in your free nights with the ones you can watch at home (on DVD, with On Demand, through iTunes or Amazon, etc.).

The 2017 Golden Globes, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, air Jan. 8. Good luck!
