Yes, I’m a bit behind posting HBO’s “Shadow” trailer for Season 2 of “Game of Thrones,” but who else has posted that and a ton of making-of the season videos together?
Um, HBO has, I guess. But no matter. Below I give you all the video I could find today, and it makes for some interesting viewing.
Based on the second book in George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” series, called “A Clash of Kings” (I couldn’t put it down), Season 2 will take us deep into the war that has erupted for control of the Iron Throne of Westeros currently held by King Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson).
Fan favorite Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) will stand tall in that struggle against King in the North Robb Stark (Richard Madden) and others, including new characters such as Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) and his priestess advisor Melisandre (Carice van Houten). We see all of them in the latest trailer, as well as Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen), who begins his own struggle after his not-so-triumphant return to his homeland of the Iron Islands. Oh and did I mention Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) begin their own epic journeys?
It’s going to be a helluva season.
