Fox announced a Fall 2012 schedule that moves “Glee” to Thursday nights after “The X-Factor” and pairs “Touch” with “Fringe” on Fridays. The network continues the two-hour Tuesday comedy block it experimented with this spring and added five new series.

Two comedies will debut in the fall, “The Mindy Project” and “Ben and Kate,” while the comedy “The Goodwin Games” is set for a midseason premiere. The drama “The Mob Doctor” joins Fox’s lineup this fall, while “The Following” debuts at midseason.

Besides canceling expensive underperformers “Alcatraz” and “Terra Nova,” the No. 1 didn’t mess with its winning formula too much. I’ll have more on the new series soon.
