World-renowned, cutest little cinnamon roll ever Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” has deleted her Instagram account.
Ridley posted on Instagram on Monday that she had cried through a tribute to victims of gun violence at the Teen Choice Awards last Sunday. She included the hashtag #stoptheviolence. After she posted, Instagram trolls descended on the post to harass her for sharing her thoughts. Because we can’t have anything nice in this world without random jerks on the internet ruining it.
Ridley, 24, then deleted her Instagram, a common outlet for the star to be her adorable and hilarious self, leaving us with a Rey-shaped hole in our hearts. Where else will we be able to see her goofy bromance with co-star John Boyega (Finn or FN-2187 in “Star Wars”)? How else will we get our daily dose of Daisy’s body positivity? Our go-to workout inspiration? Ugh.
