Even the CTA takes selfies.

The CTA is filming its work on the Red Line on the South Side nearly a year after it revamped the track and stations there.

During filming, trains are running single track overnight Wednesday between the Cermak-Chinatown and Garfield stops and overnight Thursday between the 47th and 69th stops.

A CTA spokeswoman said the agency will film through sewers along the line. She likened the filming to a plumber looking into a drain to make sure plumbing is working.

Nine stations and corresponding Red Line track south of the Roosevelt stop were closed May 19 to Oct. 20 so workers could build a new railroad to rid the line of slow zones.

“We’re just doing inspections to make sure everything’s working properly,” CTA spokeswoman Catherine Hosinski said.
