The Orwells have stayed uncharacteristically quiet over the past couple of years after ripping up the “Letterman” stage and releasing the raucous “Disgraceland” in 2014.

Thank God that’s over, because the rowdy Chicago garage rockers are back with a new album that’s slated to come out in early 2017. In honor of that news, the band’s shared its first new track in a while, and it’s called “Buddy.” At just a little over a minute, it densely packs one hell of a good tune into such a short runtime. Listen below.

Also, if you’re reading this from outside of Chicago, you’re in luck. The Orwells have announced a string of non-local tour dates.
