Let’s taco ’bout the fresh bunch of fests this weekend, including Sam Adams’ Lakeview Taco Fest. Art and music top the list with Riot Fest, Englewood Jazz Festival, Andersonville City Made Fest and West Loop Art Fest. Plus, Independence Park Beer Fest keeps the suds flowing in Irving Park.

Independence Park Beer Fest
When: 4–8 p.m. Saturday
Where: Independence Park (3945 N. Springfield Ave.)
How much: $40 in advance, $50 at the gate. Tickets: independenceparkchicago.com
The skinny: Sip craft beer from local breweries, including Alarmist Brewing, Old Irving Brewing Co., Motor Row Brewing and more, at the third annual Irving Park fest. Soak it up with bites from Cajun food truck Boo Coo Roux, Da Pizza Dude and others.

When: Noon–6 p.m. Saturday
Where: Hamilton Park Cultural Center (513 W. 72nd St.)
How much: Free
The skinny: Catch performances from musicians big and small at the 17th annual fest. Highlights include New Orleans saxophonist Donald Harrison, Jr. (3:45 p.m.), Chicago singer-songwriter Julia Huff (noon) and saxophonist Ernest Dawkins’ Live the Spirit Residency Big Band (5 p.m.).

Sam Adams’ Lakeview Taco Fest
When: 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
Where: Southport Avenue between Addison and Roscoe streets
How much: $7 suggested donation
The skinny: Chow down on tacos from 14 restaurants including Taco Joint, Cafe El Tapatio and newbies Mas, Brownstone Tavern & Grill and Garifuna Flava. And don’t miss mariachis (2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday at Second Stage) and more live music on two stages plus lucha libre wrestling (5 p.m. daily, Cornelia and Southport avenues).

Andersonville City Made Fest
When: Noon–9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
Where: Clark Street between Argyle Street and Carmen Avenue
How much: $5 suggested donation
The skinny: The fourth annual fest highlights local craft beer, music and artists. Peruse the artisan marketplace with seasonings and rubs from Spice Heist, sweets from Katherine Anne Confections, skincare products from Aphrodite’s Oil Boutique and more. Giordano’s, Quang Noodle and others bring the eats, while sips are provided by Empirical Brewery, Half Acre Beer Co., Right Bee Cider and more. Catch live music both days and a burlesque cabaret from Vaudezilla (5 p.m. both days and 7 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 p.m. Sunday).

Riot Fest

The skinny: Mosh into a sound cloud of nostalgia at this music fest with all the punk, rock, alternative, metal and hip-hop. This year’s headlining acts include The Flaming Lips (8:45 p.m. Friday, Riot Stage), Morrissey (8:15 p.m. Saturday, Riot Stage) and the original Misfits (8:45 p.m. Sunday, Riot Stage), plus other notables, such as NOFX (8:55 p.m. Friday, Rock Stage), Nas (8:45 p.m. Saturday, Rise Stage), Death Grips (7:45 p.m. Sunday, Rise Stage) and more.

West Loop Art Fest
When: 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Sunday
Where: Washington Boulevard between Aberdeen and Halsted streets
How much: $10 suggested donation
The skinny: This art fest in its second year brings together painters, ceramicists, photographers, jewelers, fiber artists, woodworkers and more. Art will be available for purchase until 7 p.m. each evening, but food vendors and music will continue through close.
