Doron Ofir Casting is looking for possible cast members of two upcoming reality TV shows. Here are the details.

“Under One Roof”

The series “Under One Roof” is looking for people older than 25 who still live with parents or grandparents—either in basements, attics, guest houses or their childhood rooms.

No, this isn’t a “Too Close for Comfort” sequel, but it’s being touted as a reality show sitcom.

“We live in a day and age where there isn’t a set time to leave the nest,” the casting sheet reads. “There is an entire generation at home, plotting their futures from the comfort of the bedroom they’ve always known.

“Move out? Why would you do that?! You’ve got a good thing going. Annoyances aside, who can take care of you better, than your mom and dad? They may not want to admit it, but they love having you there. Who wouldn’t!?!

“Paying bills is overrated. And your parents are already so good at it, why not let them keep up the good work?

“Social stigmas be damned, living at home as an adult isn’t what everyone else thinks it is. Living with your folks might not be ideal, but you’re living the “good life” with the best roommates ever—your parents.”

The casting agency is looking for men and women who are at least 25 years olf and appear to be younger than 40.

“Are you ready to show people that you are more than your living arrangement,” the casting company asks.

…Ruined My Life

Pastimes and hobbies often become obsessions that ruin family, work and other relationships because the individual’s compulsion took over his or her life.

“Often this comes with consequences that leave you at rock bottom,” Doron Ofir Casting says in a casting announcement.

The casting company wants to cast indivduals for an upcoming reality anthlogy series called “…Ruined My Life,” which will tells the stories of people who have struggled with compulsive behavior in the areas of Money & Greed, Sexual Compulsion, Gambling, Technology and Fitness morphed into something for sinister and destructive.

Casting directors want to hear cautionary tales from the people that have experienced these situations and fight for redemption—the people whose past indiscretions have gone beyond the norm. The casting agents will treat every story with respect and encourage everyone to apply.
