If you’re disappointed with the current presidential candidates vying for control of the White House and nuclear bombs, you can just feed them to your dog thanks to “Boneheads 2016,” a hilarious new edible doggie product from local company Funproductive. Get it? Boneheads? Just like our politicians and your dog treats!

These dog bones are shaped to look like former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Hillary Clinton, Senator Ted Cruz and Donald Trump, who is not to be confused with Michael Douglas’ character in “Wall Street.” Presumably, the technology isn’t quite there yet to make pet food that mostly talks about income inequality, student debt and breaking up the big banks, so a treat of Sen. Bernie Sanders is not an available option.

Boneheads were made using “3D modeling software, 3D printers, silicone baking molds” to look as much like these prominent politicians as possible. While you can see the likenesses, some could be better. The bone lampooning Hillary Clinton looks way more like Conan O’Brien than the former Secretary of State and First Lady while Bush’s is only noticable because of his glasses. There was a missed opportunity with Trump’s doggie treat with not getting his ridiculous hair but Cruz and Christie’s are both spot on.

According to a news release, Boneheads are made with “simple ingredients, like whole wheat and coconut flour, eggs, and peanut butter.” In addition, they are billed to not include any “preservatives, chemicals, or animal by-products” unlike MilkBones, which reportedly use a “preservative that the US Health Department has identified as a known carcinogen.” So, you can make fun of your least-favorite candidate all while keeping your dog safe.

Boneheads are the perfect treat for your politically-active puppy or just perfect for your non-politically active puppy—you can just feed them your beliefs and they’d be OK with it because they’re dogs.
