Eli Lilly is reaching out to help people devastated by sandy.
Company leaders announced Thursday that they are donating $200,000 to the American Red Cross for the relief efforts on the East Coast.
“I want to thank also all of our U.S. employees who are helping out the hurricane relief efforts by donating blood to the American Red Cross or making financial contributions,” said John Lecklighter, President & CEO of Eli Lilly. “Our hearts certainly go out to the victims of this tragedy and their families.”
They are also matching, dollar for dollar, every donation Lilly employees make to the Red Cross or Salvation Army.
