A Southern Indiana mother, who lost parts of her legs shielding her children from a tornado, was released from the hospital Friday.
Stephanie Decker suffered seven broken ribs and severe injuries to both of her legs when a steel beam fell on top of her.
She was transported to a hospital where her left leg was amputated above the knee. Her right leg was amputated right below the knee.
Decker plans to begin using prosthesis in the coming months.
Decker's 8-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter weren't hurt during the storm.
Silver Creek Baseball has set up a fund at Fifth Third Bank. Those wishing to donate can drop by any Fifth Third branch and ask to make a donation to "Joseph E. Decker for Benefit of Stephanie Decker."
