Tuesday night's episode of FOX’s hit Glee will pay tribute to Whitney Houston despite being filmed before the singer's death.
According to E! News, the show’s producers worked to find a way to dedicate the show to Houston. Additionally, E! News was told Amber Riley, who plays the part of Mercedes on the show, was already featured on the episode singing Houston’s hit ‘I Will Always Love You’.
Riley expressed her grief over the loss of the 48-year-old singer on her Twitter page.
“I can’t even breathe right now,” wrote Riley on her Twitter. “Not Whitney. I’m in tears right now.”
Another post read, “I had to pull over off the road. RIP Whitney Houston. I'm glad now that I got to meet you and thank you for your beautiful music.”
Houston was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Beverly Hills’ hotel suite. She was pronounced dead at 3:44 pm.
Glee will air Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on Fox.
